WDGA awards 2 College Scholarships each year and also can award scholarships for youth attending ADGA Conventions, Work Shops, etc. The Scholarship Committee continues discussing other financial means to encourage our youth interested in dairy goats.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
1. Must either be a
member of WDGA or have an immediate family member
who is a WDGA member.
2. Must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
PLEASE ATTACH:
1. High school transcripts (most recent copy listing class rank if available).
2. College Entrance Exam Scores (ACT/SAT - if available).
3. One Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or school counselor/advisor.
4. List of academic honors and extracurricular activities.
5. A 100-200 word typed essay on the Dairy Goat industrial.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP: Two $250.00 scholarships will be awarded for the
2008-2009 academic year.
WDGA scholarship recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Committee, who will review all applications submitted, and present the recipients applications to the members of the Wyoming Dairy Goat Association for the approval.
Applications must be received no later than Monday - May 16, at 5:00 PM.
